John Connell, AIA Principal  E-mail John Connell has been a principal at SCM Architects since 1992. During his years of practice, he has emphasized higher education and historic restoration/renovation projects. John has been the principal in charge of several university projects including campus housing services for five major Arkansas schools, new campus design and facilities planning, classroom buildings and distance learning classrooms. His preservation work on the Pillow-Thompson House in Helena, Arkansas earned the firm two awards in 1998. John enjoys spending his time with his family.
